I haven't been following the Indi Gregory story from the UK. When they killed Alfie Evans 5 years ago, even though Italy had offered to take care of Alfie, I knew that the UK's version of "Health Care" had become a power-mad abomination. I fully expect, in the not too distant future, that the UK will mandate everyone over a certain age be euthanized for "dignity of life" reasons. Or maybe anyone who needs hospice or nursing home care should be euthanized. It is a "dignity of life" issue.
This is a classic case of how government wields power. This isn't about cost, because the Italian Government offered to take over the case. The UK refused to let her go. A terminally ill baby at the center of a legal battle in Britain and Italy has died
A terminally ill baby at the center of a legal battle involving her parents, British health officials and the Italian government has died, a group supporting her family said Monday,
Christian Concern said Indi Gregory died in a hospice on Monday morning after her life support was withdrawn on Sunday.
Despite being granted Italian citizenship. Despite a hospital in Rome offering to foot the bill. The UK said, you can't escape our authority.
