How Firearm Magazine Limits Cause Problems for the Law Abiding

Oh, and concealed carry and self-defense are becoming a thing in Los Angeles, California. The bad guys haven't gotten that memo. (I don't expect them to get that memo.) L.A. homeowner exchanges gunfire with would-be robbers

A Los Angeles homeowner exchanged gunfire with a pair of would-be robbers in a terrifying incident that was captured on home surveillance video Saturday evening.

The homeowner, who did not want his identity released, had just pulled into his gated driveway and was walking to the front door when the masked robbers jumped over a wall.

He wasn't fighting to protect his stuff, in the interview in the video linked below, he says that there is nothing in his house worth dying for, except his family.

The homeowner says his wife, their five-month-old baby and their nanny were inside the home at the time of the attack.

I want you to go back and I want you to watch, and I want you to count how many rounds did he shoot, and when you count that I pretty sure you're going to be surprised about what you find. You see, in California they're just now really starting to let people get concealed carry permits, and - thank God - because in this case it actually helped this man, but if you count the number of times he actually shot his gun, he shot eight rounds. That means he had two rounds left in his gun when this was all said and done.

What if the bad guys didn't run. What if there were three, or four, or more bad guys, instead of two? Would he be dead? Maybe. Can you tell me today, how many people are going to attack me in the future? Can you? How many times am I allowed to miss? If you've never been flooded with adrenaline due to a life-or-death situation, you have no idea how debilitating that can be.
