Disney recently filed its 10-K Annual Report with the Securities and Exchange Commission. It is a document that they are required to file yearly. Since it is a public company, it is a public document. One of the things that must be included in any 10-K report is a warning to investors, current and prospective, of risks that the business faces that may impact the stock value.
As you can imagine, the report itself is long, written in corporate/legal doublespeak, and most people don't go through them. The website That Park Place did take the time to go through Disney's 10-K, and buried in bowels of the document is a statement of risk relating to Disney's pursuit of social engineering, and pushing of The Message™ before seeking profits.
Here is the legalese from the Disney 10-K
Generally, our revenues and profitability are adversely impacted when our entertainment offerings and products, as well as our methods to make our offerings and products available to consumers, do not achieve sufficient consumer acceptance. Further, consumers’ perceptions of our position on matters of public interest, including our efforts to achieve certain of our environmental and social goals, often differ widely and present risks to our reputation and brands. Consumer tastes and preferences impact, among other items, revenue from advertising sales (which are based in part on ratings for the programs in which advertisements air), affiliate fees, subscription fees, theatrical film receipts, the license of rights to other distributors, theme park admissions, hotel room charges and merchandise, food and beverage sales, sales of licensed consumer products or sales of our other consumer products and services.
Here is a translation of that, as provided by Breitbart - Nolte: Disney Report Warns Investors Social Goals Take Priority over Profits
That is the Disney Grooming Syndicate admitting: 1) We recognize that our far-left social and political agenda has damaged our company’s reputation and profits, and 2) we have no intention of changing. You’ve been warned, suckas.
Click on that link from Breitbart, and view some of the insanity that Disney has been pursuing recently. Impacts on profits be damned.

This next link is more of an executive summary, though it does cover some of the history around the departure of Iger, the departure of Chapek and the return of Iger, etc. The Walt Disney Company Admits That Consumers’ Positions On Disney’s Environmental And Social Goals “Often Differ Widely And Present Risks To Our Reputation And Brands”
