And we all need more time at the range. Royalton man arrested after breaking into home
Royalton, Vermont is about 120 miles northwest of Boston.
Troopers determined that 38-year-old Jesse Durkee had broken into the home through a locked door and threatened the homeowners.
The homeowners responded by firing a single round from a pistol inside the home.
No one was injured.
This sounds like a fairly straight-forward example of self-defense, but I don't know much about how Vermont views armed citizens defending themselves.
Self-defense is still a human-right, however they view it.
