Memento Mori

TRIGGERnometry is one of the many YouTube shows I like to listen to. I find most of the discussions engaging enough to have on in the background. It is really a podcast, and meant to be listened to, but it is so much easier to embed a video, even though it is just three guys, sitting in chairs having a conversation. It is an interesting conversation.

Eric Weinstein has a Ph.D. in Mathematical Physics from Harvard. Currently he manages a hedge fund. He apparently had a podcast, but the last entry on YouTube is from a couple of years ago. He thinks about the big questions.

While I enjoyed this entire discussion, 90 minutes is more than most people have time for, or the attention span to get through. And so I have it keyed up to a part of the discussion I enjoyed, namely the section "The Meaning Crisis in Art & Life." I see some hope in the fact that people are talking about the loss of meaning, and that we need to get that meaning back. If you have time to listen to the entire podcast, well, I really like TRIGGERnometry in general, and when they have interesting guests...

This is the TRIGGERnometry interview with Eric Weinstein - All Hell Is About to Break Loose. It is queued up to a 10 minute section.
