The biggest lie in the editorial is about the rule of law in California.
Street justice may be popular in movies or among frustrated citizens, but it has no place in a society governed by the rule of law.
California is no longer a society ruled by law. All you have to do is watch the mass shoplifting events, the devastation perpetrated by the Left, the open-air drug markets in the cities, etc. California is now a dystopian nightmare, that is still pretending to be civilized. And the rate at which stores and hotels are abandoning San Francisco is evidence of that.
California has fallen into a state of anarchy. What and excellent advertisement for Gavin Newsom's governing skills.

ReplyDeleteStating the obvious, but it's not governed by the rule of law if the laws protecting one party are ignored by policy.
