According to police, the homeowner heard a loud noise coming from the direction of the storage building, where he found someone trying to break in. He confronted the intruder, identified as Peche, and during the confrontation, shot him.
You might also consider not being a criminal.
The guy who got shot died at the scene. He was a "parole absconder."
The homeowner is not facing charges at this time, though as always the investigation continues. Self-defense is a human-right.
