One is never sure in the Blue States. Deadly Shooting At Allentown AutoZone Was 'Justified,' DA Says
They were involved in an "altercation" that lead to a crash. Then, when the people in the disabled car were leaving with relatives, the other people opened fire.
"All five people inside the Kia got out and approached the truck," and Ortiz allegedly "produced the same handgun (...) and started shooting at the occupants," authorities said.
One of the adults in the Nissan truck, who prosecutors have declined to identify returned fire, striking and killing Gonzalez, according to officials.
"The man identified as John Doe was in legal possession of a handgun(,)" the release says. He "was legally justified in using deadly force to protect himself and the occupants of the Nissan," authorities wrote.
They could have driven away, but they needed to continue the confrontation. (How do you spell "Macho?") He paid with his life.
One of the other guys who approached/threatened the people just trying to get away, was charged with attempted murder.
Self-defense is a human-right, and it MIGHT be your legal right in Pennsylvania. (Hat tip to Keep and Bear Arms.)
