This story is a couple of days old, but I do love the hubris of politicians.
Apparently you are someone who thinks they are above the law. South Fulton mayor released after being arrested for trespassing, burglary
Mayor Khalid Kamau of the City of South Fulton, Georgia, thinks it is OK to break into homes if you might be interested in purchasing them.
The owner told police he watched that person, later identified as the mayor, walk up his driveway and enter his lake house. He told police that he couldn't see what Kamau was doing inside the house, so he called 911. Five minutes later, Kamau walked out and the owner approached him, telling him to "stay put."
Burglary charges were later dismissed. Color me shocked that a politician is not held accountable for his actions. I mean, when has that ever happened?
Click thru for a lot of info on his other antics, none of which seem to have crossed the line of illegality.
