Pirate's Cove is up first with Wait, What: Russia, Ukraine Extend Grain Deal Despite Being At, You Know, War

They’re at war, right? Why would Russia allow Ukraine to export grain when the influx of revenue helps Ukraine? Does this sound like something two warring nations would do? Would the Allies have worked a deal to let the Axis powers export material? This is very strange.

The Other McCain - ‘Stockholm Syndrome’? SVB, BLM and the Toxic Plague of Liberal White Guilt

Bert the Samoan Lawyer sent this story to me with the dry remark, “Basically, this means the taxpayers are picking up the tab for BLM”:

Mike Rowe - Off The Wall: Dirty Jobs, Refortifying, and a Recount. Happy Birthday Mike R.

Studies have shown – conclusively – that drinking Knobel Spirits while watching Dirty Jobs is an excellent way to improve the viewing experience.

Again from The Other McCain - What Happened to Charlie Sykes?

What does “conservative” mean, if it does not mean opposition to liberalism? Or to put it another way: Why should anyone vote Republican, if the GOP is going to support the same policies advocated by Democrats? Schlafly’s book clarified this point at a time when many Republican politicians (notably including Mitt Romney’s father) were responding to the liberal agenda by enthusiastically shouting, “Me, too!”

Adaptive Curmudgeon - Extreme: Rise

Warning! If you can’t do heavy metal, this may hurt. If you’re Boomerishly incapable of liking anything newer than the Beatles… run! If you think Garth Brooks is the apex of music… bail out! If you think that hippie upstart Bach went overboard with Toccata and Fugue in D minor… hurl your computer out the window. You’ve been warned.

Clayton Cramer - Victory (and My Small Part)

My part cited by the judge was testifying that these laws only applied to large quantities (30 pounds and 28 pounds being common amounts). Demonstrating that Cornell did not even have the right location for the N.Y. law was just icing on the cake.
