An Armed 71-year-old Can Be a Threat

And self-defense is legal in Tennessee. Nashville PD: 71-year-old road rage driver killed in apparent self-defense

According to investigators, [71-year-old Alden R.] Jones was driving aggressively, speeding and cutting off drivers. Jones came to a stop at the light of the intersection and approached another vehicle behind him, banging on the vehicle window while holding a pistol.

The 36-year-old and his wife were stopped behind the vehicle Jones was threatening and tried to verbally intervene. Jones then turned his attention to the 36-year-old and started to walk with weapon in hand towards him

He ignored warnings that the person he was threatening was also armed, and he got shot for ignoring those warnings.

And yes, an armed 71-year-old can be considered a threat, if they are acting the way this guy was.

Police say witnesses have corroborated the events and no charges have been filed at this time as it is believed to have been a self defense shooting.

Because self-defense is a human-right.
