Florida Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has slammed the Washington Post as 'compost' and claimed the publication is 'incredibly racist' after it questioned her life story.
Luna, 33, who was the first Mexican American woman to be elected to Congress from Florida, has spent the last 24 hours blasting the Washington Post after it published an article titled: 'The making of Anna Paulina Luna' on Friday morning. As of Saturday afternoon, the article was still published, but the outlet - owned by Jeff Bezos - had issued one correction and a clarification.
They included one interview in the article, it supported their narrative, but not another interview, because it didn't support the narrative. Poor Hispanics MUST be Democrats! That is the narrative. That is the news that must be published. Anything else is disinformation!
'The fact is, is that their undertone of their article was incredibly racist,' she said on Fox News' Jesse Watters Primetime. 'They tried to undercut my Hispanic heritage.
'It’s awful how they treat minorities,' she continued. 'The Washington Post is compost and they should do better.'
