Some are annoying. Some are serious. Autonomous vehicles from Waymo and Cruise are causing all kinds of trouble in San Francisco.
If the cars are driving onto sidewalks (they are) then they are not driving very well.
And then there are the real problems.
In April, a Cruise vehicle blocked a travel lane needed by a siren-blaring fire engine, delaying its arrival at a three-alarm fire.
That is just great. Someone should sue that company for damages from the house fire.
The future is stupid.
