She broke into the home of her ex-girlfriend's current partner, where the ex-girlfriend is living. "How dare you live without me" seems to be a universal attitude. It universally doesn't work.
It was just before midnight on Nov. 30 when the 34-year-old homeowner said she woke up to someone pounding on the front door, followed by the sound of breaking glass, police said in a news release.
She got out of bed, grabbed her gun and went to investigate, the release said. She found the accused intruder in the living room and opened fire.
Not only did she get shot in the hand, she is charged with burglary with intent to commit assault. I'm guessing that is not what she thought would happen.
Texans are heavily armed. You would think the would-be bad-guys would have gotten that message by now.
Self-defense is a human-right. And this didn't take place in New Jersey.
The only relevant category of those entitled to self defense is human.
