Concealed Carry Stops Michigan Carjacking

He suffered from a failure of the victim-selection process. Michigan man shot by motorist during botched carjacking: police | Fox News

Two guys tried to carjack a Dodge Charger Hellcat, but the owner of that car was legally armed.

A shootout broke out between the would-be car thief and the Hellcat's owner, who had a concealed pistol license, authorities said.

The suspect allegedly drove away from the scene in a stolen Chevy Impala and later showed up at a local hospital with a bullet wound to the leg, according to authorities.

The guy left the hospital before police arrived. They caught up with him later by tracking that Chevy Impala, and arrested him.

Cops are still looking for the other guy, but I think we can say this counts as Good Guys 1, Bad Guys 0.
