Self-defense Is Legal in Pennsylvania

But then I suspected that it was. Man who fatally shot 2 in fight outside Bucks County bar acted in self-defense, DA says

Prosecutors in Bucks County ruled that a man acted in self-defense when he fatally shot two men and injured while being assaulted in the parking lot of a local bar.

According to investigators, Liam Hughes and a friend were walking to their car in the parking lot of Steam Pub in Southampton Township on Oct. 7 when he was attacked by three men.

It took the DA just shy of 3 weeks to make that determination, which is probably almost as long as it took the police to get him their reports. That is operating at warp speed for the Criminal Justice system. I suspect it means that there are really no questions as to what happened. Well done to the DA's office in in Bucks County, PA.

Self-defense is a human-right.

  1. I guess, based on this, we can reasonably infer that police investigations and the necessary paperwork just don't operate at the speed of Science.
