Chicago — Prosecutors say a 19-year-old North Side man stabbed an acquaintance 30 times for no apparent reason while awaiting trial for multiple counts of robbery and possessing a stolen motor vehicle in juvenile court.
In addition to those pending matters, Avondre Carroll has been arrested by Chicago police eleven times since he turned 18 last year.
Overall, CWB has the number of victims at 87, with 22 of those victims having passed away. In 2022. So since bail reform has been such a success in Chicago and Cook County, the Democrats are bringing it the entire State of Illinois starting in January. Because keeping violent offenders in jail is unfair.
