Daisy at Chicks on the Right is up first with Gutfeld CRUSHES Colbert, Liberals’ Heads Explode, And I’m SO HERE FOR IT

This week has been kinda weird, what with Biden trying to be Stalin and all. But even though he’s labeling all Republicans as fascist extremist threats to demooooooocracyyyyyy, there are silver linings out there, y’all. Like the fact that Gutfeld kicked the crap out of Colbert – and every other liberal host who is part of that late night “cartel.”

What a beautiful thing when a free market does its thing, amirite?

OldAFSarge at Chant du Départ is up next with The Music Lives On. A tribute to Foo Fighters' late drummer, Taylor Hawkins.

Some Foo fans have had trouble listening to the music since Taylor's untimely death. Not me, more, I want more. So I listen and remember the good times.

(After all, I was a huge Beatles fan, they broke up, John died, George died, but I still listen to their music. They live on through their music.)

The Other McCain - Grifters Gonna Grift: Lawsuit Accuses BLM Leader of Swindling $10 Million

You have to admire the vagueness of that phrase “criticized by some,” couched in the passive voice. And the “compound” BLM bought in Studio City might more properly be called a mansion, but the Objective Journalists at the L.A. Times are trying to avoid the plain truth, i.e., when these alleged victims of oppression hit that $90 million jackpot, they went on a spending binge that would make a Saudi prince blush.

Adaptive Curmudgeon - Keep Your Head: Part 2: It Always Degenerates To Bugs And Death. Set the Wayback Machine for 1976. The movie Network and the Oil Embargo... It works up from there.

In 1979 America bailed out Chrysler. I was just a kid but I wasn’t dumb. “If Chrysler made shitty cars shouldn’t they go bankrupt? We bought a VW because it’s awesome. Why prop up a factory that makes junk?” A kid too young to buy beer could figure this out. The question for a cycle of bullshit is this; could adults surrounded by bullshit reason as well as naïve kid just trying his best? The answer wasn’t reassuring: “Shut up kid, this is an emergency and a one time thing.” It sounded like crap to me. I wondered why they didn’t have a better answer. Did adults just say whatever they want to get whatever feels good?

Again from The Other McCain - The Symbolism of Philadelphia. It was odd (in some ways) that he spoke in Killadelphia.

Biden does not deceive us. It is Democrats, not Republicans, who spent the summer of 2020 tearing down statues of our nation’s Founding Fathers. It is Democrats, not Republicans, who have denounced the Electoral College as undemocratic, just as it is Democrats, not Republicans, who endanger Supreme Court justices whose rulings they don’t like. Everything good about America, Democrats seek to destroy, and everything bad in America (e.g., drug dealers, cop killers, perverts in public libraries and junkies defecating on city streets) Democrats defend.

Don Surber - A raid to get 1,693 newspapers?

The stuff the FBI collected was not nuclear codes. It was a bunch of old magazines and newspapers. He and the FBI had no business confiscating them.

A detailed list of what the FBI claims it took shows Reinhart's was a general warrant, which the 4th Amendment bans. I suppose this is FBI standard operating procedure because although they are sworn to defend the Constitution, the agents never seem to bother following it.
