Civilization Was Nice While It Lasted

Everyone involved in this shit-show is an asshole, but that doesn't justify murder. NYC McDonald's worker shot over fries is brain dead, accused gunman held without bail

She got cold fries. She complained, so they gave her 2 hot fries, and laughed when she complained again. So she told her son who shot one of the laughing idiots in the neck. The guy who got shot is brain dead.

Webb was toiling at the Fulton Street eatery on Monday evening when Morgan’s mom, Lisa Fulmore, complained to workers that her fries were cold and asked to speak to a manager.

When the workers began laughing at her, Fulmore was FaceTiming with Morgan, who came to the restaurant and got into a fight with Webb that spilled out onto the sidewalk.

So they thought laughing at a customer with cold fries was funny. I wonder how the still-living, laughing-idiots feel today.

If people would do their jobs, if people had common decency, if people didn't resort to violence as their only way to solve problems, then one person would be alive, and another would not be facing murder charges. But none of the "ifs" are true, because there is no civilization. There is no Good and no Evil. So it is not hard to conclude that there is no Right and no Wrong.

Oh, and McDonald's, or the franchisee who owns that location, should fire everyone, starting with management, and begin again. But that won't happen either because reasons. They won't even fire everyone who was working at the time, because that wouldn't be fair. Or something.
