I wonder how this guy's victims would answer that question. Machete-armed robber was on felony bail and received an early discharge last year from a sentence he received for 6 other robberies, prosecutors say - CWB Chicago
Andre Gonzalez was charged with felony identity theft in Oak Park on April 8 and a judge allowed him to go home by paying a $2,000 bail bond deposit, Assistant State’s Attorney Sean Kelly said. Gonzalez, 35, was still on bond when he allegedly started robbing people while armed with a machete on May 27.
He is charged with 4 robberies, and police are still investigating if he was involved with 3 others.
But hey, keeping violent criminals in jail is unfair.
