HeyJackass! brings us the April Wrap-up.
A strong, final inning of the April portion of Spring Training managed to nearly tie last year’s homicide count but (as of this post) fell 2 runs short.
The top-line stats for April: 55 killed, of that 51 were shot and killed, and 205 shot and wounded. The detailed stats, such as the gender and racial breakdown of victims, #ShotInTheAss, and more can be found at the link above.
May of 2021 was active with 70 homicides and 333 wounded, but didn’t see the complete and total shitshow that the end of May 2020 showed the world.
