Tonight, we'll take you to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a community trying to help its kids navigate a mental health crisis. Wisconsin has the fifth highest increase of adolescent self-harm and attempted suicide In the country, with rates nearly doubling since before the pandemic.

It is 60 minutes, and they are the masters of tempest in a teapot, but in this case I think they are telling an actual story. A story about how the lockdowns, which were in place to keep the children safe, pushed the children over the edge.

It is a typical Leftist call for more government money. In this case they want more money for mental health care. And maybe we need some.

I find it interesting that there is absolutely no mention of religion in this piece. No discussion of what humanity has used for millennia to deal with existential crises. Interesting, but not surprising. Believing in something bigger than yourself is just superstition. Believing in an order you cannot see is not for us in the 21st Century. Meaning in life is only to be derived from your job, and your pastimes. Even when most people can't derive meaning from their jobs, and most pastimes are mindless wastes of time.
