Reporters Are Still Unclear on the Definition of Victim

If you break into my home, and I shoot you in self-defense, you are not a victim. Spokane police investigating shooting near Ash and Mission.

According to police, the homeowner who shot the victim says the victim was an intruder. Police have reason to believe the homeowner and victim know each other.

And this is also the distraction that the Left loves. "You are more likely to shoot someone you know." Well, there's a damn good reason for that.

You are more likely to be victimized by someone you know. An ex-boyfriend, or ex-husband, the creepy guy from the coffee shop, or the coworker-turned-stalker. Whatever. Sure, strong-arm robbery, carjacking and a few things like that are the "stranger-danger" type of crime. For most things, it will be people you know.

There is very little info at this point, and the investigation continues. The guy who got shot was taken to a local hospital.

Self-defense is a human-right.
