What are the chances that a law-abiding citizen in Los Angeles County, California would be in a position to defend himself? He apparently thought the chances were low. Arcadia burglar shot by homeowner during a home burglary gone wrong - ABC7 Los Angeles
Deputies from the Temple City station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded at about 1 a.m. to the 5500 block of Tyler Avenue regarding reports of a burglary, said Deputy Miguel Meza of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
The suspect was shot twice and taken to a hospital in unknown condition
The investigation is ongoing of course, and who knows what the DA in Los Angeles will decide to do. (Any bets on the homeowner being charged, and the bad guy let off?)
Self-defense is a human-right.
