Not quite a Heavy Metal Christmas album, which is why they are not playing on a Monday afternoon. The songs started as Heavy Metal; today's songs were originally from Metallica. Today they are offered up with a twist.
Santa Claws and the Naughty But Nice Orchestra has a number of Christmas albums. Tributes to Green Day, AC/DC and Metallica. Today we have a few songs that started with Metallica.
This is "The Call of Ktulu" as covered by Santa Claws and the Naughty But Nice Orchestra, from the album ...And Christmas for All! The Holiday Tribute to Metallica. This song was originally on Metallica's album Ride the Lightning. This may not be my favorite from song from the album. Not quite my favorite anyway. But it is a good place to start. Very Christmas-y.
Next up is "Wherever I May Roam". It was originally on their 5th album, Metallica, which is generally known as The Black Album.
And finally we have "One" It was originally on the album ...And Justice for All.
Other songs on the album include "Master of Puppets," "Nothing Else Matters," and "Fade to Black." They are a nice change from the 5 songs playing in every store in America.
You can find the entire album on YouTube at this link.
You can find the other albums by searching for The Green Days of Christmas, and Hells Bells of Christmas.
