Same Crime, Different Day

I'm shocked that he went right back to a life of crime. Thief stole thousands of dollars of cigarettes from Walgreens stores — while on bail for stealing thousands of dollars of cigarettes from Walgreens stores, prosecutors say

A man on bail for allegedly stealing over $4,000 worth of cigarettes from a suburban Walgreens — and on bail for stealing loads of cigarettes from a Walgreens in Grundy County — was charged Wednesday with doing the same thing at three of retailer’s Chicago stores. But he is suspected of committing many, many more cigarette raids at Walgreens in the city since June.

He was held without bail from violating the terms imposed after the previous arrest. Bail was set on the new charge, which I suppose means that the "without bail" conditions might change in the future. If he can make bail for that new crime he gets electronic monitoring.
