Is this a rock ballad? "Acronym Love" is a nice song, with a nice guitar solo, and still isn't too jarring, and though it starts as a ballad, it probably doesn't qualify overall, as the energy builds toward the end.
At least it ramps up, so it probably won't be too much to endure before the coffee kicks in.
