How Should a Woman Defend Herself from a Home Invader?

If she does not have a firearm, what should she do? Anderson deadly home invasion on 8th Street

How would you deal with an intruder in your home in the middle of the night?

Anderson, Indiana is about 30 miles northeast of the center of Indianapolis.

With home surveillance cameras rolling, prosecutors insist a man forced his way into the woman’s home.

“Neighbors had videos of him parking in front of the residence and looking through windows, ultimately breaking through the door and pulling a weapon out,” said Madison County Prosecutor Rodney Cummings.

He was pretending to be law enforcement when he broke in.

She shot the guy in her own home, and Indiana has a fairly strong version of the Castle Doctrine. The case remains under investigation - which means that police won't comment.

The one neighbor they interviewed said that she was justified in protecting her children.

“Self protection is your right in your home,” said [neighbor Anthony] Alfarano.

Self-defense is a human-right. It may even be your legal right in Indiana.

  1. The residence had clearly been scouted. There was no man in the house. Rape & murder as a bonus thrillo for an robbery wasd likely.

Rulke of Thumb: Don't screw with a Mother defending her cubs. Women are smaller and weaker than most men, but go after her cubs, and she will hurt you. A lot.

The game immediately goes to, "Kill or be killed". The "fool" climbed in and found out that the den gives the resident magical powers. Good Work, Momma!
