Because they believe they are helpless. They are really incompetent. The Biden Administration’s Blame Game and the Sad Fate of #NeverTrump
It is psychologically unhealthy to think of oneself as a victim of forces beyond one’s control. Good mental health requires a sense of agency — the belief that we are masters of our own fate, able to obtain success and happiness by our own efforts — and the opposite of this is the victimhood mentality, the belief that we are doomed to misery, because we are being sabotaged and betrayed by an evil “them.”
The passive voice of the Biden Administration is explored in some detail. It is a problem because if you really believe that you can have no impact, then you will take no action, or in the case of a Presidential administration, create no policies, or change course if something is not working.
However much you hate Trump, the fact is that his policies worked. Prior to the arrival of the Wuhan [virus], Trump’s policies had the U.S. economy in overdrive, with record-low unemployment, and it was his administration that initiated “Operation Warp Speed,” which yielded the COVID-19 vaccines that Biden now wants to make mandatory.
And then there is the Never Trump crowd. The “Ahoy” crew of Jenifer Rubin, Jonah Goldberg, David French and Charlie Sykes are mentioned, though Goldberg's actions are covered more thoroughly.
One gets the idea that Goldberg may be nostalgic for the days when people didn’t spit on the ground and curse the very mention of his name, as every decent and patriotic American must now do. But he could rectify this, merely by titling the name of next book, I Was Wrong.
Don’t hold your breath waiting for that confession of error, though.

I am pretty sure that the "passive voice" is theater for the Liberals. The border has to be kept open as a means to assemble the new population as an "army" to clean out the ghetto, a la Compton, California. In Compton, a previously an African American slum with ~100 homicides per year was taken over by Hispanics and Hispanic gangs that targeted AA gang-bangers. Compton is now ~70% Hispanic with next to no violent crime. The Corruptocrats don't need to carry the burden of the ghetto since they own the voting machinery. The new population brings profit to the property owners and grift to the "pols". The push for "affordable" multifamily housing in the suburbs and the new push on anti-firearms laws are all designed to make the suburbs more attractive to the evicted "Team Ghetto". If the surround is unaffordable and/or hostile, it may prolong the ghetto wars in the Democratic urban areas.
ReplyDeleteHint: the looting and burning of many urban centers is part of the plan to provide "room" for the new population. With the functional "White" businesses gone, it will be much easier for the new taco and sarape shops to get established.
For the last several centuries, the West African tribes/empires were dumping their useless population into the international slave trade. The steel implements, eventually firearms, brightly colored cloth and rum were good exchange for the non-productive useless, and burdensome people. The descenndants of that population were, for a time, useful to the urban Democratic machines. The Illegal aliens are the new, and improved, population base. You are going to love your new neighbors!
It will be "interesting" to see if the urban underclass and the suburbans join-up as allies against the invaders.
In other words, stop prattling Conservative/Liberal and Biden is "inept". That is all theater for the peasants. The invasion and population replacement is where it is at. The Corruptocrats (Dems, GOPe, Woke) are playing you. They are evil ; not entirely fools. Act two is going to be ugly.
