Washington State may be deep blue, but it has a long history of self-defense. Bonney Lake suspected home intruder dies after shooting
The man was shot Tuesday afternoon by the homeowner’s son, Pierce County Sheriff’s Department Detective Alex Richards said. He said the suspected intruder entered the home, and an altercation between the man and the 31-year-old son ensued.
The son shot the intruder, who died later a local hospital.
Self-defense is a human-right. The cops did not arrest the son, having determined that the shooting was probably self-defense. Cops don't make the final decision on prosecutions.
