I've got nothing on Afghanistan. So much was handled poorly in the past few weeks, but mostly I am pissed off about what apparently has been handled poorly in the past few decades. So I will just recommend you read the links below.

Though in July he said it was "unlikely" that the Taliban would take over.
Why did he think it was “highly unlikely”? Probably because he was listening to the Deep State “experts” of the intelligence community. [SNIP]
All these State Department and CIA geniuses with their degrees in international relations from Georgetown, Harvard, Yale — if you want to blame someone, put the blame where it really belongs.
I couldn't agree more.

There is no way to alleviate the political damage Joe Biden has suffered as the Taliban captured Kabul today except, perhaps, by keeping Biden hidden away at Camp David, while the administration’s various spin doctors are deployed to major media outlets to make excuses:

Few of these bozos have ever served in the military. Fewer still have any real exposure to the culture and peoples of this area, contact being restricted to members of the diplomatic corps and business community, hardly the people populating the jihadi movement. The agency or the 7th floor of Foggy Bottom is like listening to a sociology lecture at Yale. People who have no experience or exposure to the subject matter they supposedly are masters of vomiting forth academic views developed during department cocktail parties. If you want to understand what is going on overseas talk to the boots on the ground. They know.
