Not to well. CWB Chicago is keeping track. #26: Shooter in murder-suicide was on bail for two pending gun felonies, police say | CWB Chicago
A 20-year-old man who killed his girlfriend and then fatally shot himself last month was on bail for two separate felony gun charges, according to court records and Chicago Police Supt. David Brown.
Brown, speaking to the City Council on Friday, used the murder-suicide as an example of violent crime committed in the city by people who, he argued, should be in custody.
Chicago PD Superintendent Brown is right about one thing. (He is wrong about a lot, but...) The police can't do it themselves. If the The Illinois State's Attorney for Cook County, Kim Foxx (not-so-affectionately known as Crimesha) won't work to convict people, and the judges won't assign bail, things will not get better in Chicago.
