“They didn’t all die but most did” Is this part of Canada's "free" health care? Quebec nursing home often gave morphine rather than treat COVID-19 patients, inquest told - The Globe and Mail
"Kill the Old People" seems an extreme way to cut costs.
A nurse testified that the Sainte-Dorothée long-term care facility consistently administered morphine instead of attempting to prolong the life of elderly residents who were believed to have COVID-19.
“They didn’t all die but most did,” Sylvie Morin said.
Including at least one person who never tested positive for COVID. Well they don't know, because the test was "lost." Or could it be that the test didn't come back the way that would have been good for the nursing home.
There are more details and a law suit.
Hat tip to Small Dead Animals, who asks...
Is this… murder?
Back in the very beginning of the pandemic, when it was first seen how it was most severe in the elderly who were in poor condition, I saw reference to the disease as the "Boomer remover." It's hard to imagine they'd actually use it to kill off patients. Apparently, my imagination isn't very good.
ReplyDeleteMy take on Cuomo and his insistence on sending sick people into nursing homes was that "old people vote for Republicans," so a few less didn't matter to the Democrats.
DeleteBut then communists and socialists have never been squeamish about killing people.
Such evil.
ReplyDeleteEvil seems to have taken a deep root in Western Civilization. "Do No Harm" morphing into "Just kill the sick" is one of the worst examples. Not the only example.
