A headline linked from another article reads "7 People Shot, 1 Fatally, In 8-Hour Span In Minneapolis." In the video at the link they say 12 hours, but either way it is awful for a city the size of Minneapolis.
He says the city does not have enough officers to respond to crime when needed. Community members at Monday’s gathering, including Pastor Dale Hume, believe calls for defunding the police have played a role in the spike in crime.

I can't stop laughing. Detroit's mayor and police chief stood tough last summer when the usual idiots tried to ignite "mostly peaceful" riots.
