Fell On Black Days

I can never decide if Soundgarden is Grunge or Heavy Metal (probably Alternative Metal), that may be because they changed a bit, or because I didn't really ever listen to Grunge. I don't think it matters if the music is good, and in this case the music is good.

Here is what AllMusic had to say about the album that today's song comes from.

The zenith of Soundgarden's power and creativity; Superunknown is one of the best albums of the early 90s alt rock scene. Here the Zeppelin/Sabbath sound has evolved to include various pop and psychedelia influences (a la The Beatles).

Chris Cornell wrote this song about a time early in his life when he struggled with depression. A struggle he eventually lost. He took his own life in 2017 after the band completed a concert in Detroit.

This song is "Fell On Black Days" by Soundgarden from their 1994 album Superunknown.
