Aaron Joseph Williams, 33, was attempting to break into a house in the 3100 block of Whittier Drive when the homeowner shot him around 11:43 p.m. Saturday, May 15, Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Public Information Officer Ryan Bridges said.
