This is from a week ago, but I missed it. It is worth noting.
In September 2019, the teens attacked 13-year-old Diego Stolz in the yard of Landmark Middle School.
Cellphone video showed Stolz being punched repeatedly before falling and hitting his head on a pillar.
Even after he lost consciousness, these two miscreants continued to punch him. The victim died 9 days later. The two perpetrators were 14-years-old at the time of the attack.
It is as if you don't need to be marooned on a deserted island in order to act out Lord of the Flies. This all played out at Landmark Middle School in Riverside, California, in September of 2019.
After killing a classmate, who they had apparently been bullying him for weeks, (the school couldn't be bothered to intervene) they each served 47 days in detention. That is all the judge thought a life was worth.
The victim's parents are appalled, of course, and this being the times that it is, they are suing the school and the 2 killers for wrongful death.
