Despite temperatures that stayed near zero degrees Fahrenheit all weekend, Chicago wracked up quite total in the mayhem column. St. Valentine's Weekend | HeyJackass! HeyJackass!
This month has already tallied 18 homicides, which is more than double what the massacre tallied. 2020 saw the equivalent of 113 St. Valentine’s Day Massacres but we doubt any of those homicides will become part of Chicago lore quite like the original.
There were 4 murders and 10 woundings in Chicago over the weekend, which for the purposes of HeyJackass! runs from noon on Friday, until 6 AM Monday.
