No one was injured. Turlock trio facing charges for botched kidnapping
Two of the men, David Wasylina, 59, and Zackary Wasylina, 34, are the victim's father and brother, respectively and the third suspect, Partner Hooten, 46, is the woman's ex-boyfriend.
The kidnapping was thwarted by an individual who shot at the three men, causing them to abandon their plans and flee. They were apprehended a short time later by the Sausalito Police Department.
And I thought holiday dinners were awkward in my family.
The Left loves to go on about how if you own a gun, you are more likely to shoot someone you know, but that is mostly because people you know are more likely to be a threat. The woman didn't have a gun, but she knew all 3 of her would-be kidnappers.
Self-defense is a human-right. And thank God for Good Samaritans.
