He was arrested twice, on various charges that included assaulting a police officer, illegal possession of a firearm, intent to distribute drugs, etc. He was released on bail both times.
You might have thought that two arrests in the span of three months would be enough to put Jones behind bars for a long time, but he was soon back on the streets, and his next arrest was for murder.

The Criminal Justice System in this country has abandoned the taxpayer. Murder is soaring in just about every large city in America. Carjackings are skyrocketing in Chicago, and I would bet in other places as well. Looting is ignored everywhere. And then there was the story of County Deputies that did NOT go to the aid of a 70-year-old, disabled man. It turns out that the deputies in that last case were afraid of BLM, because the guy trying to break into the house was black.
