The gun-hating Left is always going on about how if you own a gun, you are more likely to shoot someone you know than a stranger. There is a reason for that. Fontana man shot after trying to break into relative’s apartment in Redlands, police say
Most of the people you will ever have problems with, are people you know: The crazy neighbor, the creepy guy from work, or the coffee shop, an ex, or a relative.
A 31-year-old Fontana man was arrested in Redlands after he allegedly attempted to break into a relative’s apartment, where he was shot by her fiancé, authorities said. [SNIP]
[The guy who got shot] was allegedly carrying a gun and making threats as he tried to force his way into the apartment following a verbal confrontation with family members at the apartment complex, [Redlands spokesman Carl] Baker said.
The guy who got shot was arrested at a local hospital.
The District Attorney’s Office will decide if the resident would face a charge for being in possession of a stolen firearm, Baker said.
Which doesn't change the part about self-defense being a human-right.
