HeyJackass! has the October Wrap-up for Chicago.
While the election is taking up most of the oxygen in the room of late, October went ahead and posted its worst tally since the last major election year of 2016. [SNIP]
October 2020: 69 killed, 297 wounded
October 2019: 40 killed, 192 wounded
By comparison, October of 2013 saw 35 people killed, and 98 shot-and-wounded. So double the fatalities and triple the injuries. Is this progress? I'm sure someone thinks so.
