They aren't changing the name of the team back, but they are restoring the classic logo.

The classic logo is based on the likeness of Blackfoot chief John Two Guns White Calf. It was created, at least in part, by Walter "Blackie" Wetzel, a former leader of the Blackfoot Nation.

But what interested me from the Instatpundit post was the bit about how the Biden campaign, in 2020 wanted to hide the fact that Hunter Biden, in his youth, would wear a hat that the Woke Scolds considered racist.

However, much like Kamala Harris’s craziness the previous year, team Biden couldn’t or wouldn’t risk alienating their ultra-woke core constituency; in 2020, CNN broadcast a photo supplied by the Biden campaign with the Redskins’ logo Photoshopped out of Hunter Biden’s ski cap in a 1970s-era photo with where he was being held by Joe. “[Joseph Wulfsohn of Fox News] reported that the Biden campaign has now admitted editing the photo and blamed it on copyright concerns. According to a CNN source cited by Washingtonian magazine, ‘We received this picture and many others from the Biden campaign, and any additional inquiries should be sent their way. Future airings will include the original photo.’”

It id interesting to note that in their zeal to cancel "problematic" images, the Woke Scolds have eliminated all pictures of Black men and Women, and Native Americans from the grocery story. Even the images (or is that especially the images) associated with products and brands that were started by those Black Men and Women. What? Minorities can start successful companies? Can't display that!
