Of course they have to deal with New York State's anti-self defense regime. Governor Kathy pushed for a law making it illegal to carry concealed in "sensitive spaces," which includes synagogues and other places of worship or religious observance. Because hey, if a bunch of Jews get killed on the way to or from synagogue, or while at worship, that is just the price they will have to pay to live in Kathy Hochul's "civilized, gun-free society," where the criminals run free and the law-abiding are disarmed.
