The National Felony League

My take is that growing up, the rules didn't apply to star athletes, so they don't know how to follow the rules today. Dallas Cowboys Cornerback Kelvin Joseph a 'Person of Interest' in Murder Investigation - 20-Year-Old Gunned Down Outside Club (VIDEO)

Another day, another NFL player in trouble with the law.

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph is a person of interest in a murder investigation related to a drive-by shooting that took place outside of a bar in Dallas last month.

Joseph’s attorney Barry Sorrels said his client was a passenger inside the vehicle that fired into the group of men, however the NFL player did not shoot the gun.

There are a couple of places keeping track of NFL arrests. One is USA Today: NFL player arrests database: Records since 2000, and another is NFLArrest.com. They each hold their appeal. The top page of NFLArrest.com has the overall breakdown by team, by type-of-crime, from DUI to Murder/Manslaughter.

But back to the story at hand.

After the surveillance video was released by the Dallas Police Department, people recognized Kelvin Joseph’s gaudy necklace (screenshot below) with the letters “YKDV.”

Distinctive jewelry and tattoos: doing the cops job for them. Will he will have to "rat out his friends" or face obstruction charges? Or other charges? Or will he just get to walk away?

As for the rules... Sports stars almost always get a pass in high school. And in college too. (My college didn't go in much for organized sports.)
