Some experts have always maintained that the coronavirus would eventually morph into a seasonal cold-like virus as the world develops immunity through vaccines and natural infection. But the emergence of the highly-mutated Omicron variant appears to have sped the process up.
MailOnline analysis shows Covid killed one in 33 people who tested positive at the peak of the devastating second wave last January, compared to just one in 670 now. But experts believe the figure could be even lower because of Omicron.
The governments of the world are drunk on power and will not give it up easily. And there are a bunch of "experts" who say "it is too early to tell" or "the results are not clear" who will help those governments justify their actions as they trample on freedom everywhere.
I'm predicting that by next cold season, "vaccination" against every strain of every respiratory virus will be mandatory.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any idea how many people die with the common cold every year? Neither does anyone else, because nobody's been keeping stats. Expect that to change, and, given the ubiquity of colds in any normal year, the numbers will be Super Scary.
