Florida Woman Goes for a Drive. On a Golf Course

There must be something in the water. Car Chase in Florida Leads to Suspect and Sheriff Deputies Driving Through Golf Course.

This took place in Indian River County, Florida, which is on the Atlantic coast about half way between Cape Canaveral and Palm Beach. It is also about due east of Tampa Bay.

Sirens blared as officers drove down cart paths and onto the green. Some golfers even had to jog out of the way of the unexpected SUV.

I'm not sure when golf cars became buggies, but there you have it; Peak Florida - at least for today.
