Three men, armed with one gun entered the store at 7:45 PM.
The three men took some cash at gunpoint and fled the area. According to the news release, it was during the robbery that the store clerk fired a gun at one of the suspects and killed him.
The guy who was hit by gunfire died.
There have not been many details released by police at this point, and several articles on the incident are more than 50% speculation. Though one of the stories has a great deal of information about the "high school student" who died. He was 17 and committing a felony, so as Donut Operator would, I won't cry over spilled criminals.
Now he won't have to write that valedictorian speech.
