Easy On Me

I was going to say that if you're living under a rock you may not have heard that Adele released a new song last week, but I know that isn't really the case anymore. People are disconnected from new music these days. Anyway it is the first thing she has released since her last album, 25, which came out 6 years ago.

She has an amazing voice. There is no AutoTune to be heard on this track. Just Adele, a piano, a bass, and programmed, very understated, kick drum. It is a beautiful song. In other words, it broke all of the "rules" for how popular music is produced today.

And it also broke Spotify records for the most number of downloads in a single day.

This song is "Easy On Me" by Adele. It was released as a single on October 15th. There is an album planned, 30. The album will be released on November 19th.
