The Situation in Chicago Seems to Be Accelerating Out of Control

HeyJackass! has the details on a Mostly Peaceful Weekend in Chicago.

Just as this year’s 500th homicide arrived at an accelerated pace, the 600th arrived at the morgue at a mid-nineties velocity.

Final Peaceful Tally: 10 killed, 54 wounded
2020 weekend tally: 10 killed, 37 wounded
2019 weekend tally: 6 killed, 24 wounded

I'm sure that the Powers That Be will still try to insist that Crime Is Down™.
